Information about cookies

In accordance with Law 34/2002 of July 11 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR), and Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 on Data Protection and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD), all websites that use non-essential cookies are required to obtain the express consent of the user before allowing them to browse.

What are cookies?

Processing of personal data

The International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE) is responsible for processing personal data in compliance with GDPR.

  • Legal basis: Except when necessary for browsing, processing is based on the user’s consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
  • Data retention: As specified in the section on cookies used.
